Aja Batey

Aja Batey is a dedicated advocate for marginalized communities and individuals, with a diverse educational background and a professional career in business systems analysis. She holds a BS in General Biology from UT – Chattanooga and a BS in Integrated Studies, combining Psychology and Social Work, from Middle Tennessee State University.

Aja’s passion for making a positive impact in her community has driven her to be an active member of non-profit organizations in Nashville. With a rich history of service, she worked for Preston Taylor Ministries as a reading teacher for five years and continues to volunteer her time. Aja is also a dedicated member of Junior League Nashville, where she has contributed her expertise to the Advocacy Committee and now serves on the Justice Industries Committee.
