What We Do

Shine Photography seeks in-need student referrals from Metro Nashville Public Schools counselors, Community Achieves Program managers as well as Davidson County nonprofits who are in need of professional photography services for senior photos. 

We recognize that this is an important and joyful time in the life of both the student and their family and we are grateful to play a part in celebrating that student and their accomplishments.

Partner photographers are vetted and paid a reduced but fair price for their work.  

The cost to families is $10.00. 

Funds are raised to pay photographers, print photos and cover a small amount of administrative costs.

Why Senior Pictures Matter?

•  We desire that all youth thrive and not just survive. 
•  Senior pictures are considered an essential for graduation. 
•  Senior pictures celebrate the student for achieving a very momentous accomplishment.
•  The pictures are not only important to the seniors themselves, but to parents and grandparents who may find it difficult to pay for more expensive professional services.
•  Family members are joyful over receiving the pictures as gifts. 
•  They provide a means of self-expression. Personality, interests and accomplishments can be showcased. 
•  The student is memorialized for the future. 
•  A portrait says, “This is who I was.” or “This is who I am.”
